Spend one wonderful day in Singapore and get your passport stamped in Malaysia

This is one of my wonderful trips that I want to accomplish in my life.  I have visited two main places: Johor Bahru (Malaysia) and Woodlands WaterFront (Singapore). Total cost for my trip is about 30S$ (10S$ for transportation and 20S$ for the food). At the time I wrote this post, I’m still living in Singapore.

In that day, I overslept and woke late – around 11am. If I start to my trip early, I can visit many interesting places in Singapore such as Marina Bay, Durian Theatre, Singapore Flyer, Merlion... They are all in the same area, so it's very easy for you to get to these locations. If you are the one who love nature, you can make a trip to go to Jurong Bird Park because the distance between Jurong Bird Park and Woodlands CheckPoint is not so far. After visiting these places, you should take a rest for lunch or some drinks before going shopping in Malaysia. In comparison, beside those are sale off, clothes seem cheaper than Singapore. I don’t like shopping, so I exchange only 100$S for my trip (100S$ = 240RM).

So many sale off ones. However they are all for girl

Below is the detail information of my trip:

JOHOR BAHRU (Malaysia)

Despite of where you are in Singapore, all you need to do is get to Woodlands MRT or Kranji MRT! You can take a bus or MRT (Red Line) to get there. After that, take the bus No.950 to Woodlands CheckPoint for security check. Your passport is not stamped yet. If you’re working in Singapore, you must take your work permit along.

Camera is not allowed here... ^^

After security check, you take a bus No.170 to go straight to Johor Bahru. The procedure is very simple because they don’t ask so much. All we need to do is waiting for the passport stamped and finished!!! You should notice that the Ezlink card (Singapore) can be used for all the transportations mentioned above.

WOODLANDS WATERFRONT (Singapore)

Now, it’s time to go back to Singapore after a wonderful shopping trip. When coming back to Woodlands MRT, we planned to have dinner near Sheng Siong Supermarket. There’re many kinds of food such as sea food, Muslim... One set for 4 or 5 persons is around 40S$ (not so expensive). After that, we decided to get some fresh air in Woodlands Waterfront. With some snacks and beers, you can enjoy the beautiful view here. To get there, you can take a cab or bus No.856 on Woodlands Centre Road. Woodlands WaterFront is one of national park consists of 1.5km long waterfront promenade. From here, you can see the other side of Johor Bahru.

The night is very quiet and great – suitable for couples or friends to come here for chatting and sight seeing. In clear weather, you can see a sky full of sparkling stars. One more interesting thing is there are some people come here to fish...crab. It's unbelievable that when I looked into the water, I saw so many blue crabs crawling on the surface of water. You even can use a racket to catch them!

Cute blue crabs...

This was how I spent my day...<3

Have a nice day ^^
